Restoration Scope
for EUDR Compliance

Restoration Scope is software for the cooperatives, exporters and importers doing EU Deforestation Regulation due diligence. Map every plot, trace each lot back to its farms, and review each plot against the 31 December 2020 cutoff before your due diligence statement.

The screens show a fictional coffee cooperative in San Martín, Peru. Its producers, plots and lots are invented; check results, statement statuses and field visits are examples.

Free pilot. Organisation plans by quote. NDA optional. We show you the 78-plot demo on the call.

Demo cooperative: 78 plots, 219 ha and 25 producers, 8 plots to map or fix and 26 boundaries walked in 2026; 112,390 kg of 2026 harvest in lots and the lots by statement status; beside every plot on the map, coloured by review status

Three teams, one record per plot

The field team maps the plots, the production team records harvests and lots, and the compliance team reviews the evidence. Each team sees its own part of the same plots.

Field team: Mapping

The people who visit the producers. They map every plot and update it when something changes on the ground.

EUDR demo Mapping page: 219 ha mapped, 26 boundaries walked in 2026, plots to map, needing a fix or mapped, and the field team’s list of boundaries to walk, beside a satellite map of coffee plots drawn as boundaries or points and coloured by mapping status

Is every plot located the way the regulation asks?

Record each plot as a boundary, or as a single point when it is 4 hectares or less. Bring in the spreadsheet, KML, shapefile or GeoJSON you already have, then see the whole supply base on one map, each plot marked to map, needs a fix or mapped.

What geolocation the EUDR requires
EUDR demo coffee plot Alto Bonito 2 on its Mapping tab: boundary walked 3 Jun 2026, a polygon of 4.4 ha against 4.7 ha declared by the producer, last field visit 5 Jun 2026 by the North field team, beside its boundary on the satellite map
EUDR demo coffee plot Alto Bonito 2 on an Android phone: its boundary on the satellite map above the plot record with its producer, review status, mapping status and area, and the Assessment, Mapping and Production tabs

How do we map every producer’s plots, and keep them current?

Field teams walk each boundary on a phone, without signal if they need to, and record the visit. When a boundary moves or a field is replanted, they update the plot, so the next lot starts from what is on the ground.

The Field App

Production team: Harvest and lots

The people who record harvests and assemble lots for buyers.

Demo cooperative: lot TQ-26-02, ready to file: 18,930 kg from 10 plots, its statement package, statement details, geolocation file and cutoff evidence, then its plots with their producers, areas and 2026 harvest, beside the 10 plots on the map

Which farms did this lot come from?

Record each producer’s harvest by plot, in kilograms, and group it into lots. Open a lot and see every farm in it, with its producer, area and harvest, on the map.

Demo cooperative: the statement details and geolocation file of lot TQ-26-02: green coffee, HS code 0901 11, Peru, 10 plots in one .geojson download

What do we hand our EU buyer?

Each lot keeps the commodity, HS code, country and harvest window your buyer asks for. In the demo, download a lot’s plot file with its boundaries and points; we agree the setup for your supply base during the free pilot. You or your buyer file the statement.

Compliance team: Assessments

The people who prepare the due diligence. They review each plot against the 31 December 2020 cutoff and follow up the ones that need a closer look.

EUDR demo coffee plot La Florida 3 outlined on the satellite map, split by a swipe divider: Esri Wayback imagery from 19 Apr 2020 (WorldView-2) on the left and 12 Oct 2025 (WorldView Legion) on the right

Was this land forest on 31 December 2020?

Turn on the JRC 2020 forest map, JRC Tropical Moist Forest and recent disturbance alerts over your plots. In the demo, compare selected before-and-after imagery for a plot; we agree the setup for your supply base during the free pilot. Your team reviews what it sees and sets the plot’s review status: reviewed, in review or needs follow-up.

Demo cooperative: Data quality counts (5 plots not mapped yet, 1 point used for a plot over 4 ha, 2 mapped areas that differ from the declared area, 70 with no issues), then the 8 plots that need action, each with the field team’s next step

Which plots need a closer look?

Data quality lists the plots that need a fix: not mapped yet, a point used for a plot over 4 hectares, or a mapped area that differs from the declared one. The field team gets the same items as tasks. When a plot needs more than a fix, open a risk case and follow it to its close.

Start from the files you already have

Plot lists, boundaries and producer records come in from spreadsheets, KML, shapefiles, GeoJSON and survey forms. Your team keeps the tools it uses now.

Questions about EUDR due diligence

Does Restoration Scope make us EUDR compliant?

No software can. Restoration Scope keeps the plot locations, imagery, review notes and lot records your due diligence relies on, and prepares each lot’s geolocation file. Your team, or your EU buyer, makes the risk assessment and files the due diligence statement.

Do you check plots against the 2020 cutoff automatically?

No. You see each plot over the JRC 2020 forest map and recent disturbance alerts. Your team reviews them and records the result on the plot.

Do you file the due diligence statement in TRACES?

No. You or your buyer file the statement in the EU information system. In the demo, each lot downloads a GeoJSON file of its plots to attach to it.

When does a plot need a polygon instead of a point?

Plots of more than 4 hectares need a boundary polygon, except for cattle. A plot of 4 hectares or less can be a single point with six decimal places.

When does the EUDR apply?

The rules apply from 30 December 2026. Qualifying micro and small operators established as such by 31 December 2024 have until 30 June 2027, except for EUTR-listed products. Traders and downstream operators follow the December 2026 date. Under Regulation (EU) 2025/2650, checked October 2026.

Can field teams map plots without signal?

Yes. The Field App runs on iOS and Android, keeps working without signal and syncs boundaries, records and photos when the phone reconnects.

How do we start?

With a free pilot on your own plots: send us the files you have, and we set up your plots, producers and lots with you. We can sign an NDA if you want one.
