One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization dedicated to global reforestation, working with local communities to plant trees and restore ecosystems worldwide. We built a tool to generate portals for each one of their donors. One of them, Coldplay is a public portal.

Acción Andina is a multi-country initiative restoring and protecting native forest ecosystems in the Andes. We worked with their monitoring team to set up a database and visualization tool to understand and share their data.

Ponterra, backed by Microsoft, develops high-quality carbon projects, with their first initiative focusing on smallholder reforestation in Panama. We built a tool to track land owner engagement and data sharing for investors.

Kijani Forestry operates a sustainable agroforestry project in Uganda, utilizing community nurseries to produce sustainable charcoal and combat deforestation by providing affordable fuel for oven stoves. We built a tool so their field officers understand their project as a whole, make better decisions on where to focus resources, and track their progress in real-time.

Living Carbon reforests abandoned mines in the US. They needed a solution that combined data on suitable properties, eligible planting land, and mines with appropriate permits. We built a tool with their science and GIS team that integrates these perspectives, streamlining land prospecting for restoration.

Coldplay's philanthropic efforts are among the best in the music industry. Together with One Tree Planted, we built a public portal to showcase their reforestation funding efforts.

The Art of Forests is a global community of practice for land stewards and organizations working on reforestation, afforestation, ecosystem restoration, and conservation. Rather than running a single planting project, they support and connect practitioners through shared learning and collaboration.

Mothbox is a low-cost, open-source insect monitor that captures nocturnal biodiversity data and helps classify insects with AI.

The City of Turin publishes an open inventory of its street and park trees. We visualized more than 105,000 of those trees alongside tree cover, and linked them to population and summer heat to compare tree equity and temperature across 23 historic neighborhoods.

Alegría Village is a regenerative eco-community in the hills of Costa Rica. We map its lots, trails and neighbors, and track the trees planted across its land.

Toronto Nature Stewards is a volunteer-led program caring for the ravines and natural areas of Toronto. Lead Stewards see the work, planting and monitoring done at each of their sites.

La Zahara cares for native cork oak (Quercus suber) woodland in the Sierra de Cádiz, Spain. Its team manages the watershed and fire risk, and monitors birds, bats and pollinators.

Jaya Organic Yojana (JOY) supports regenerative, organic farming in India. Its staff use our tools to find surveyed farmers and understand their land and farming practices, village by village.

Amigos del Río Machuca works to restore the Río Machuca watershed in Costa Rica. We map the properties in its priority watershed and how close each one sits to the river, so the team can reach the right landowners.
