## Keep working without signal

1. **Prepare while connected.** Load the latest project records and check offline readiness before heading out.
2. **Capture and save on your phone.** Record the work and keep photos saved locally, even without signal.
3. **Reconnect and sync.** Sync saved records and photos to the project when you’re connected again.

## Your project in your pocket

Find your place on the project map, then open the information you need on site.

- **Locate yourself in the project.** Use device location to see your position alongside work sites and monitoring plots.
- **Open the information for that place.** See its boundaries, recorded details and project status while you’re there.

## Capture points, lines, polygons, and photos

Record the locations, routes, areas and observations your project needs.

- **Points.** Mark a tree or observation and keep its coordinates with the record.
- **Lines.** Record a road or firebreak, with its path and length.
- **Polygons.** Draw a parcel or planting area and see the land it covers.
- **Photos.** Attach photos to the field records or take photos wherever you are.

## Easy on your team

Help people get into the project and find what they need to do.

- **QR sign-in.** Scan a project invitation, sign in, and join with the access your team has chosen.
- **Contextual actions.** Open a record to find the actions configured for that work.

### Does the Field App work offline?

Yes. Load the project while connected, capture records and photos without signal, and sync them when you reconnect.

### Which phones does it run on?

iOS and Android. The Field App is on the App Store and Google Play.

### What can field teams record?

Points, lines, polygons and photos, through forms configured for the work: a tree, a firebreak, a planting area or an observation.

### Can we keep a tree-by-tree census?

Yes. Each tree can carry its own ID, species, GPS point, photos and monitoring visits, captured offline. Tables export as CSV for your verifier.

### How do new team members join?

They scan a QR invitation, sign in and join the project with the access your team has chosen.
