# Keep your tools. We connect and process their data into one project.

Spreadsheets, survey forms, GIS files and photos stay where your team makes them. We set up the connections and the processing, so everything lands in one place, tied to the land.

## Start with the data you have.

What you have becomes what your team manages: properties, owners, plots and the work on each, linked to the map. [Browse data connections](https://restorationscope.com/data-connections).

## What your team can do

### Keep filling in the same forms and spreadsheets.

Data comes in once, on a schedule or as it changes, depending on the source. Nobody copies rows by hand, and records can go back to a Google Sheet.

### Find problems while there is still time to fix them.

Checks we set up with you flag a missing field, overlapping boundaries or a tree outside its farm, in one list, early enough to go back to the field.

## Turn raw inputs into records, maps and measurements.

Columns become fields, files become boundaries, photos and forms attach to their records. Your team’s methods run on the same data, on demand or automatically, and the results attach to the record. [Explore geospatial workflows](https://restorationscope.com/platform/geospatial).

## Every team works from the same records.

The numbers you share with funders come from the same place.

- [App Platform](https://restorationscope.com/platform/app): Plan and review the work in boards, tables, maps and dashboards.
- [Field App](https://restorationscope.com/platform/field): Carry the same records into the field, with or without signal.
- [Geospatial](https://restorationscope.com/platform/geospatial): Run your team’s methods on the same boundaries.

## Common questions

### Which data sources can we connect?

Spreadsheets, survey forms, GIS files and photos: Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, Kobo, shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML and GeoTIFF, drone imagery, and databases such as Postgres and BigQuery.

### Do we have to stop using our spreadsheets?

No. Your team keeps filling in the same forms and spreadsheets. Data comes in on a schedule or as it changes, and records can go back to a Google Sheet.

### Does our data need to be clean first?

No. Files do not need to be tidy first. We set up the connections and the processing with you, and quality checks flag what needs fixing.

### Can we import a file just once?

Yes. Drag and drop a file for a one-time import, or connect a source for scheduled or real-time sync where it is supported.
