The initiative seeks to create a safe haven for wildlife and nature across 7 hectares of land. This space will provide a safe refuge for animals and plants that are increasingly threatened by human activities and development. We are committed to preserving the biodiversity of this area and creating a sustainable ecosystem. Our efforts include planting native trees and vegetation, controlling invasive species, and restoring habitats for wildlife. We will also create a network of trails and educational programs for visitors to learn about the importance of conservation and the need to protect our planet's precious natural resources. Our goal is to create a model for other conservation projects and inspire more people to get involved. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, we are confident that this project will be a success and will make a positive impact in the conservation of our planet's flora and fauna.
The project is committed to helping the local community that lives around the buffer zone of the Gunung Leuser National Park. Our mission is to create mutually beneficial conservation initiatives that help both the local farmers and the wildlife. To this end, we are undertaking projects to raise awareness and have a real impact, such as planting fruit trees that can give farmers a profitable alternative to selling their land to big palm oil companies. We believe that by connecting the local community with the wildlife in the park, we can better support them to live in harmony with each other while also securing their livelihoods. We are focused on building bridges of understanding and respect, so that the community and the wildlife can benefit from each other. Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that the Gunung Leuser National Park stays healthy and able to support the local community for years to come.
