### Map layers

- **EU forest map 2020.** Where the EU forest map (JRC Global Forest Cover 2020) shows forest, at 10 m. It can count or miss shade coffee.
- **Tree cover loss 2021–2025.** Where Hansen/UMD mapped tree cover loss after the EUDR cutoff, by year, at 30 m.
- **Forest typology 2020.** Nature Trace forest types in 2020: primary, naturally regenerating, planted, plantation, tree crops and other land. Land may have changed since.
